Every colour, once
Dither is applied to the sort order, not the output — every colour is still used exactly once. Agitate raises it from banding-fix to full boil. The shutter develops a much larger frame — a second or two. Plate shows the palette alone, unrolled along the curve. Fidelity above zero blends back toward the true colour and breaks the once-each rule.
A camera with a fixed ration of colour. Every shade it can make, it must use — and may use only once.
